Rising Stars Equestrian Center Remembers

David Burke and Florent

David went from riding ponies when he was little, to having a vision of owning his own farm. His parents made that a reality for him when they bought Gold Coast Equestrian Center in Brookville. David was an accomplished rider, with numerous awards to his name. He always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eye that you could not resist but smile at. He was just beginning to build his future and fulfill his dreams at Gold Coast when he was taken from us too early in his life. For those who knew him, we will always smile when we think of him, for those who are still at Gold Coast, we will continue to strive to attain his goals, for those who will never know him, we can only try to explain what a wonderful person he was. We thank him and his family for giving us the opportunity to continue on.

Remembering DennisSincerely Yours ("Dennis")

Known to all as the "King", Dennis lived for most of his 21 years on the farm and was born only a few miles away. He joined Debbie's family at the age of 4 and proved to be a champion in the show ring and a best friend at home. From hunters, to jumpers, to equitation, he did all that was asked of him with an effortless grace. Dennis was never happier then when he was strolling the farm in Brookville, visiting his friends and supervising all activities. Though his time here was not nearly long enough, he will be remembered always and loved forever.

Remembering DennisObie

"Obie" was a true Gentle Giant who protected all little ones on Gold Coast farm, whether two or four legged.
